This was taken on a recent trip of mine with some friends from my school to Seattle, WA. I wanted to take a shot of the Space Needle with my new film camera, but I wanted to try to make it unique some how. I noticed the pretty fall leaves and then framed it with them, actually focusing on the leaves. I am very very pleased with my results. I think I am going to want to get this one enlarged. Hope you enjoy it!

Very nice composition...the choice of focus in this picture is smart because as a viewer I get to see the "smaller" things in life even though the space needle is wanting to dominate the frame. Nicely done.
This is nicely done; slight graininess issue b/c of the scanner, but over all really nice. I would love to see this in a higher res. The focus on the leaves was a brilliant touch - I love the deepness of their colour against the sky. Excellent.
I love it! The cropping is fantastic and the framing of the leaves is brilliant. I appologize for not being a critical insensitive prick, as I tend to be, but I love your photo. Perhaps it's because of my obsession withh anything and everything "Seattle," but I still agree that the cropping and framing are wonderful. Perhaps I should appologize for the favorite, as well?
no problem.
Oh no, what I meant by cropping was that you naturally cropped it the way that you shot the photo (no computer manipulation needed).
Have a spectacular day (or evening I suppose)!
