Excellent shot, good depth of field, little noise, I like the shadows. Captures the mood without showing much of the surrounding area. Good show.

:D

where do you see noise? you might wanna check your eyes. This was shot in RAW at ISO 100. I dont see how you could see noise when you are looking at this uncropped 8MP file that was resized down to 480x720 and shot at ISO100...

I'm glad that other than that you like the photo though. I am pretty happy with this shot. Thanks for the comment!

Ok, no noise then :P. Raw mode... nice ;). Ever done HDR portraiture?.
:iconexorp:
Yeah I have. I didn't do it on this one though. However to get even less noise I did over expose this one on purpose then I brought it back to the correct exposure in Lightroom. I noticed that doing this especially at higher ISO's can cut back on noise quite a bit but probably didnt do much since I was shooting at ISO 100 for this shot.

Yeah I've been meaning to try out lightroom since I bought my DSLR back in August, I've gotten used to converting my pentax pef images to dng.. *sigh* and then opening them up in photoshop and tweaking things from there.

Nice portrait. Makes me think of clothing ads.

I believe most pentax dslr's can shoot in DNG. Its just a setting in your camera to change between PEF and DNG I believe.

well not mine, pentax k100d, I checked :P. Still love this camera though.

I like the angle and her expression a lot in this one, but I don't really get why she's sitting on granite scraps. Seems kind of a strange place to sit to me.
I also like the pure colors in her face in this one. Maybe it's the lighting? :) (I'm not a photographer obviously, lol)
